Nathan Wawatai studied accounting and economics at Victoria University, Wellington. He became self employed in 1995, managing up to 13 staff in his service industry based business. In 2004 he transferred his management skills to the property development industry. Since this time he has successfully built and sold a number of high specification family homes in the Wellington area and continues to develop and refine the design/build aspect of his business.
Nathan is currently responsible for managing all financial and staff matters for Homeland Residential. As Project Manager, Nathan oversees all aspects of the build, liaising between client, architect, contractors and council ensuring its successful and timely completion.
Nathan has personally managed the building of several homes for himself over the years alongside selected trades people. This experience has provided him with an excellent understanding of home construction techniques and allowed him to gather a range of proven design concepts. As a result, Nathan can offer the most practical and cost effective solutions to his clients. Being the father of a young family, Nathan understands the importance of a quality, low maintenance home that is comfortable, safe and designed with family living in mind.
